TTI Railroad:

Paris
Kentucky is the home of Transkentucky Transportation Railroad, Inc., also known
as “TTI Railroad”. TTI’s heritage is traced back to the founding of the
Maysville and Lexington Railroad on March 6, 1850, in which the residents of Paris
and Bourbon County played a large role. Paris has always been a railroad
community and the roundhouse at Paris provided many jobs in the early 1900’s as
the rail industry thrived. The line of road was purchased by the Kentucky
Central and later by the Louisville and Nashville Railroad. Today, TTI is
wholly owned by CSX Transportation and is independently managed and operated.
TTI provides Rail to River coal transportation services to the Ohio River in
Maysville, KY and is a Bulk Commodities Reloader, providing bulk materials pipeline
management services. TTI is in position to provide a key rail link via CSX to
markets in the US and worldwide. TTI’s office is located at 205 Winchester
Street, Paris, KY 40361. Their phone number is (859) 987-1589 ext. 100 or 128.
If you are presently a business or industry in the area or have plans of
locating here, give TTI a call and ask how they could be of service to you in
the development of your enterprise.
